This lovely stone cottage which is a much loved home and not just a holiday cottage sits on the quay looking straight out over the River Dart. It has been renovated and modernised to an extremely high standard and now provides the perfect combination of old character cottage with modern quality and comfort. It is offered for holidays when the owner is away. Accommodation Details: Through entrance porch to sitting room with tiled floor, oriental rugs and woodburning stove in large inglenook fireplace. Colour TV, video & music centre. Super views of the river. Up two steps to dining area with pine dresser and table. Very well equipped kitchen with wooden units containing dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, tumble drier, fridge/freezer, electric hob and oven. Up open wooden stairs to double bedroom with en-suite shower room, WC & bidet. Doors open out from the bedroom onto the patio at the rear of the house. Bathroom with WC, basin and shower. Down four stairs to children’s bunk room with river views, three bunks (take care – top bunk is about 7ft from the floor). Further double room with views of the river. Back door from kitchen leads to steep cobbled steps up to patio area (steps not suitable for the infirm or for small children). Patio has garden furniture, barbecue and there is a small lawn at the top with view of the river. Dinghies available for hire through owner. - Bed Linen Provided
